Actually, there are really two addictions involved in smoking. Most people believe that we are simply addicted to nicotine, but that isn’t always the case.
Yes, nicotine is a very addictive substance and it is extremely hard to kick once you have the habit, but there is more to smoking that a simple physical dependence on a chemical substance.
